Built for Amsterdam teams
You need something that works for 9 people and for 80. For the competitive analyst and the quiet introvert. For people who've tried every team building in the book and for those who dread icebreakers with every fibre of their being.
We built this Amsterdam team building with exactly that team in mind.
One team building. Zero compromises.

We were happy to rediscover Amsterdam. What's more, it was great that it was not possible to google the answers. Special thanks to Thomas — we liked him a lot!"
"We had great fun as a team and got really competitive along the way. The route is very well thought and brings you over the central attractions of Amsterdam, but also some unknown gems. Amin was a great guide — he stayed in touch before and throughout the activity. And the gifts were great too!"
"We really had a great time doing the treasure hunt. I have gotten a lot of positive feedback from my colleagues. The competitiveness suited us perfectly (we work at a sport-college). We got a nice tour of the inner city, and the bonus activities were great fun."
"The treasure hunt was a fantastic way to explore the city together, fostering teamwork and creativity while keeping everyone engaged and energised!!"
"We did this treasure hunt for a team building event and we had such a fun time. It was so well organized, Javi, our guide was a lot of fun and encouraging. Would definitely do this again."
"We worked with Treasure Hunt Amsterdam on a big group hunt and it was great! Everyone really enjoyed it! Leading up to the event the Treasure Hunt Amsterdam team was super helpful and easy to work with. The hunt was well organized and the team on-site explained everything in detail. Would definitely recommend and use again."
Trusted by companies from around the world
Absolutely. Our team building is designed as a pleasant walk through Amsterdam — no running, no canals to swim across. The route covers around 3–4 km over roughly 2 hours, on flat pavements at your own pace. Suitable for all ages and fitness levels — we regularly run events with participants aged 18 to 65.
Diverse and international teams are exactly what Treasure Hunt was designed for. Every player brings something different — analytical thinking, creativity, local knowledge or sheer determination. We run the game in English and Dutch, and mixed-language groups are absolutely no problem. Amsterdam is one of the most international cities in the world — we're very used to it.
The minimum is 9 participants; there is no fixed maximum — we have run events for over 300 people at once. The ideal team size is 5–6 people. For large events we deploy multiple Game Masters working in coordination so rankings and results remain shared.
We take Dutch weather seriously — we always have a plan. In case of rain we provide ponchos for everyone. Many teams tell us their rainy Amsterdam hunt was the most memorable event they've ever had. You can also cancel or reschedule free of charge up to 24 hours before the event.
A standard event lasts 2 to 3 hours — including briefing, the game and the closing ceremony. It fits perfectly as part of a broader company day. Popular format: meet & briefing (20 min) → Treasure Hunt through Amsterdam (1.5–2 h) → winner ceremony at a canal-side venue (30 min).

Because Amsterdam is one of the world's great walking cities — its canals, bridges, hidden courtyards and 17th-century streets create a natural playing field. Every neighbourhood has layers of history to uncover. Your team stops being tourists and becomes explorers, and the city itself becomes part of the story.
We've been running events since 2014 — with a 5★ rating from over 175 Google reviews. Our clients include Shell, Booking.com, IKEA, Netflix, Spotify and dozens of companies bringing international teams to Amsterdam for events.
